CHET MINTON - ARTIST - A superb illustrator whose work has graced many ttrpgs. Also one of the nicest guys in the industry.

CHUPACABRACON- A San Antonio based ttrpg con that benefits Extra Life, in support of our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. When I lived in Austin, this was my ‘home con’. I had to miss it this year but hope to be back next year. Run by some really great people who will take good care of you.

DYSON’S DODECAHEDRON - A blog by Dyson, artist and seminal creator of iconic dungeon maps. If you have been playing ttrpgs for a while you know his style. Lots of good stuff here from articles to free maps. Check it out.

EGG CON - E.G.G. are the initials of E. Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons. This is a convention that takes place in his home town staged by folks that knew and loved him. It is a fabulous celebration of the gaming hobby and its history.

GAME STORM - Portland’s Premier gaming convention! I live here now so this is my home con! Come see me!!

GARY CON - This has replaced GenCon as my yearly pilgrimage. It feels like the GenCon of old and has a focus on old school games. The best place to play some 1st Edition D&D, Boot Hill/ Metamorphosis Alpha, Fight in the Skies or Dawn Patrol this is the place to be. If you are a designer, the lobby lounge is the place to be.

KNIGHT WATCH GAMES - An awesome games store in San Antonio Texas. Beautifully decorated with a massive tavern style areas where you can play card, board and roleplaying games. There are also three themed game rooms outfitted with all the toys and tools you could want. Order snacks, drinks and even full meals from the in-house Skullery. The community is second to none.

MONKEY HOUSE GAMES - Home of V&V3: Mighty Protectors. Villains and Vigilantes is a true classic that showed many modern designers that there were worlds beyond fantasy and systems beyond D&D. Super hero goodness. Check it out.

PAGE - The Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo. I have been going for several years now. They have a robust dealer’s hallm a wide variety f gaming events but their focus is guests. If there is someone you hope to meet, roll some dice with or you would like an autograph this is your con. I have had a chance to hang with so many old industry friends here. I love it :)

PALADIN’S LEAGUE - A gaming restaurant and bar that is becoming my local home away from home. I have run several events there and plan to run many more. A great community with an awesome staff.

PDX Tabletop RPGs - A Portland group facilitated by the awesome Davena Oaks, a local legend who is absolutely the person to know out here. This is a great resource for people looking to find or put together a group. Go forth and game!!

SCARE FOR A CURE / QUEST NIGHT - A glorious band of lunatics that stages a haunted house every Halloween Season and Quest Night action adventure events in March that benefit the Breast Cancer Resource Center. These people are family - in at least one case literally. Support by attending or get involved - you won’t regret it.
