A special event in which Malix will run a campaign over the course of a single convention.
At an Epic Ages event a series of sessions will comprise a ‘campaign chronicle’. You can play as many sessions as you like. The events will be presented in chronological order. The first session occurring earliest in the timeline and the last being the latest.
Each day’s events will take place in a different Age.
Day One will be the Age of Blood and Bone, during which savage tribes struggle to tame the land.
Day Two will be the Banner Age, during which young kingdoms emerge and struggle for supremacy.
Day Three will be the Golden Age, during which a supreme monarch has to deal with threats foreign and domestic.
The games you will play will be pivotal moments in the campaign history. Your actions will result in meaningful, lasting changes that will be reflected in later sessions and the history of the campaign. The initial guide to the setting will be posted here on the first day of the con. It will be updated each evening to reflect what happened during that day’s events. Join us to participate in a unique living world experience.
You won’t have to know anything to play your session. Each is a stand alone event that will have its own story that will resolve in a single sitting. You may enjoy that it it part of something bigger but you can ignore the context entirely if you want to. It’s up to you!
The first Epic Ages event will be staged at the Philadelphia Area Gaming Expo, an awesome East Coast con with some of the best games and best guests around. They are in their fourth year. Come on out and roll some dice with us!
