Gary Con is more than just a gaming convention—it's a heartfelt tribute to Gary Gygax, the father of role-playing games and co-creator of D&D, and a celebration of the community he inspired. Held annually in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin (the birthplace of RPGs), Gary Con began as a memorial gathering of friends and family and has grown into a vibrant event welcoming gamers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.

CHUPACABRACON VII

The convention is run by nonprofit foundation Austin Creative Pathways benefiting Extra Life whose mission is to unite thousands of gamers around the world to play games in support of their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital.
ChupacabraCon is a small event, pulling visitors from around the country. We are known for having an unusually high number of professional guests for an event of our size. We routinely host 25 to 30 industry guests, including designers and authors of many of the top RPGs. Being a small event of around 800 attendees, this is a unique opportunity to meet your favorite designers, many of whom run their games at ChupacabraCon.
We have been told by attendees and industry guests both that Chupacabracon is one of their favorite events of the year. Come join our family of gamers!
